Privacy Policy

MenuCraft ("MenuCraft", "we", "us") is a software product operated by Food Bros. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use MenuCraft, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email us at support@myfoodbros.com.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and an encrypted password (or, if you sign in with Google, the profile information Google shares with us: name, email, and avatar). You may optionally add a restaurant name, tagline, and location in Settings.

Content you create

We store the dishes, ingredients, costs, notes, shopping lists, and menu configurations you create in MenuCraft so we can show them back to you across sessions and devices.

Payment information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number, CVC, or bank details. Stripe returns a customer ID and subscription status which we store to know which plan you're on.

Usage and device data

We collect basic technical data automatically — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and errors encountered — to keep the service running, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve MenuCraft.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Process subscription payments and send billing receipts.
• Respond to support requests and send important service notices.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your dish or menu content to train third-party AI models.

AI features

Pro features such as AI pricing recommendations and AI-assisted menu generation send the dish or menu context you supply to our AI provider (Google Gemini via the Lovable AI Gateway) solely to generate the requested output. We do not send account credentials or payment information.

Service providers

We share limited information with vendors who help us run MenuCraft:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Lovable — application hosting and the AI Gateway.
• Google — optional single sign-on.

Cookies and analytics

We use first-party cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and remember preferences (such as your filter settings). We may use privacy- respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from Settings, we permanently delete your dishes, notes, and profile within 30 days. Billing records may be retained as required by tax and accounting law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in Settings, or by emailing support@myfoodbros.com.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, row-level authorization, and leaked-password checks. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.

Children

MenuCraft is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International transfers

MenuCraft is operated from the United States. By using the service you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of MenuCraft after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
